Eva Flores, 74 of Yakima went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on January 22, 2019. Eva was born November 02, 1944 in Torrington, WY to Carlos J. and Francisca J. Diaz. The family moved to the Yakima Valley a few years later where she attended school. She was a very hard worker doing warehouse jobs, a coat factory and later became a deli manager at the corner store, Family Foods.
She met and married the love of her life Manuel Flores on December 11, 1970 just celebrating 48 years of marriage. On January 17, 2019, they renewed their vows while she was in the hospital. Pastor Don Davis renewed them for them. Eva loved spending time with her family which she loved all of them very much. She cherished her 2 great grandchildren the most. They were her pride and joy.
She is survived by her loving husband Manuel Flores, 2 daughters, Anne Diaz and Jennifer (John) Burt. Sisters Frances (Pete) Cerna, Josie (John) Moore, Mary Salazar, Sally Diaz and a brother Pete (Vera) Diaz. Her grandchildren Andre (Alex), Jessica (Geno), Jacob, and Anthony and her 2 great grandchildren Elijah and Amiyah Diaz and numerous nieces and nephews which she loved them all unconditionally.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Carlos and Francis Diaz, a sister Annie Thomas, a brother Gerald Diaz, a daughter Stephanie Flores, her niece Patricia Thomas and April Thomas and a nephew Michael Macias.
