Jane Ann Gustafson, 88 of Yakima passed away on April 2, 2013 at Chandler House. Jane was born to Charles and Ethel (Reber) Gustafson on April 26, 1924 in Seattle. She attended Yakima High and graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Interior Design . While in college she was a member of the Chi Omega Sorority. Jane was also a lifelong member of St. Michael’s Episcopal Church.
After college she moved back to Yakima and worked as an Interior Designer for Harold Schultz furniture for 45 years. She was a member of the American Society of Interior Designers. Jane was also an artist and was mostly known for her watercolor paintings. Jane was well loved and will be missed by many friends. Her smile and great sense of humor will long live in our memories.
She was preceded in death by her parents. A big “thank you” goes out to Chandler House for taking such great care of Jane.
