Jeremy Lee Burgess

Jeremy Lee Burgess born October 6th 1977 lived a full life. He touched the lives of everyone he met, and in his short 32 years of life that was a lot of people. Jer could walk into a room and lift everyone’s spirits with just a smile. He was always there for you when you needed him, to listen or to offer advice.

Getting to spend time with Jer made you want to be a better person, made me a better person, parent, and wife. Jer was blessed with the gift of gab, and he used it well. He loved to share his take on God and Jesus, and his thoughts on life, love, and happiness. Jer will be greatly missed, but always loved.

Jer is survived by his wife Kristy, his four children Melissa, Joey, Remy, and Sadie. His parents Marvin and Cheryl, his sister Terra, and Grandparents Jerry and Audrey Burgess and Loyd Dovel.

Memorial services will be held at Yakima Bible Baptist Church, 6201 Tieton Dr in Yakima, on Saturday September 18th at 2:00pm, with a potluck to follow at his families’ home.
