On Saturday November 23, 2019 at 9:55 pm, our father Jose “Joe” H. Bautista entered heaven at the age of 74. He was a beloved father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, cousin, father in law, and friend.
Joe is survived by his children Melanie Ozuna, Shane Bautista, Christina Morrow, Joe Bautista Jr., son in law Andrew Ozuna and his three grandboys Anthony, Simeon, Jacob Ozuna as well as Chantel Scott, Jordan Scott, and Jared Scott, Aaron Bautista. His parents (mother) Manuela Apilada, (stepfathers) Jose Tovar, and Mariano Apilada and his grandma Natividad Herrera and his uncle Ernesto Herrera helped raise him. He had three brothers: Santos Tovar, Joe Tovar and Art Tovar and four sisters: Connie Garcia, Francisca Tovar, Juanita Tovar and Nettie Strong.
Joe loved being with his grandchildren Anthony, Simeon, and Jacob Ozuna, he would call them his KINGS; he would drop everything for them. He loved going to all the football games and wrestling matches all over the Valley rooting on Anthony and Simeon. He loved going to BBQs and partying with his family.
A viewing will be held Thursday, December 5, 2019 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Keith and Keith Funeral Home with a Rosary at 5:30 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday December 6th, 12:00 pm at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church followed by a graveside committal at Reservation Community Memorial Park in Wapato.
He fulfilled his last wishes to have a BBQ with his loved ones. On his last day he enjoyed eating steak and drinking a beer at Cottage in the Meadow with the people he loved.
You will be truly missed Dad, Big Joe, Jooooooeee, and Grandpa Joe. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.keithandkeith.com.
