He was born on January 20th, 1989, to the parents of Carmelita and Herman Gonzalez as a premature baby weighing just a pound and a half, he was a true miracle.
Jose attended high school at AC Davis HS, and YV Technical Institute where he studied para-education.
He helped with the family landscaping business on the weekends mowing lawns.
He meant so much to everyone who knew him, his contagious loud laughter and his sense of humor was one no one could miss. You didn’t even need to see him to know that he was in the room or in the vicinity, just hearing his voice you knew he was there. Jose was a person who was always willing to help others, he was only a phone call away. When you were in his presence, it was never a dull moment.
His big heart and kindness touched everyone he encountered. He had a way of turning strangers into family. To him, no one was just a friend-everyone was a brother or a sister, he loved them as such.
Jose is survived by his siblings Angelina and brother-in-law Richard Garcia, Britney Gonzalez, Melany Gonzalez, his parents Carmelita and Herman Gonzalez, his nieces and nephews, and many cousins.
He was proceeded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents, his brother Manuel Olavarrieta, baby brother Angel Gonzalez, maternal aunts and uncles, and his childhood best friends Eddie and Brandon.
