Judy B. Shay

Judy B. Shay (Leeth) 56, passed peacefully into the arms of heaven on Friday April 16th, 2010 at home surrounded by family and friends. Judy was born Sept. 20th, 1953 in North Bend, Oregon. For many years, Judy was lovingly cared for by Jack and Pat Reece during her stay at Cedar Hills Adult Family Home. In April 2007, she came to live with her son Robert and daughter in law Vickie. Judy spent much of her time laughing with her grandchildren. She loved to watch everyone and everything going on around her. She especially enjoyed reading Harlequin Romance Novels, listening to music, watching TV, and having the occasional girl’s day with friends Debbie and Ed Teeters.

Judy was preceded in death by her mother Mildred McCann, and brother Chester Leeth.

She is survived by her father Louis Lloyd Leeth, brothers David Leeth, Mike Riley, and Joe Lewis. Sisters Mary Young and Loretta Lewis. Sons Robert Shay and wife Victoria Shay, James Leeth and daughter Theresa Shay. 7 grandchildren and many extended family and friends. A special thank you to Judy’s best friend Marie Kiddoo for always being there. Also a special thank you to Dr. Celerian, Kate, Cindy, Mary, Pam, Dan, and other hospice staff at Memorial Hospital. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at Keith & Keith Ninth Avenue Chapel. Arrangements have been entrusted to Keith & Keith Funeral Home.
