Kim Jean Johnson, aka Nana, passed away September 13th, 2019, at the age of 61. Kim is predeceased by her mother and father, Jack and Wanda Henderson. Kim was the baby of four children. She is survived by her brother, Dan Henderson, and sisters Cathey Brown and Debbie (Lyn) Johnson. Kim looked up to each of her siblings and loved them dearly.
Kim married Dale Johnson on September 16th, 1975, and despite the obstacles life threw at them, they remained close friends and beloved life partners up to the moment of Kim’s passing. Together Kim and Dale share three children: Misty (Rafa), Casey, and Aspyn (Stephan), five grandchildren: Cody (Brittany), Dylan aka Ogre, Elizabeth, Anthony and Mason. Kim also played a role as a surrogate Nana to many other kiddos; especially to Angel and Izik.
Kim has countless nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She is also survived by her dog, Cadem, whom she loved with all of her heart.
Kim was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, and if I say the date she’d kick my butt. Kim spent the majority of her life working in the fruit industry, where she made numerous lifelong friends.
Kim enjoyed anything and everything as long as she was with her family; whether it be camping, beach trips, going to the movies, family gatherings, or a sleepover with her grandkids. Nana’s house was always the place to be.
