Kim Curtis Stevenson

KIM C. STEVENSON of Yakima, WA passed away on Monday March 20, 2017. Kim was born in Covina, California on September 14, 1955 to Karol and Mary Stevenson. Surviving family is Kim’s wife of 34 years, Dawn Burkdoll Stevenson; mother, Mary Stevenson, brother Doug and his two sons Garrett and Adam, brother Mark, wife Elaine and their three children Carrie West, Melissa Rassamasun, and Jason Stevenson, sister Rita (Tia) husband Rich and their three boys Richie, Adam, Max also two half siblings Larry Stevenson and Carla Potts.

Kim’s father (our family’s hero) preceded him in passing, “Where they have Reunited in Heaven and Rejoicing!”

Kim was a longtime resident of Yakima, WA, where he lived since he moved up with his family from San Jose, California at the age of 18.

Kim loved his family deeply!

Kim loved his wife deeply!

Kim would call his mom and say “it’s your Baby Huey.”

And his sister he always would say “it’s your baby brother “with a special giggle he had.

KIM WAS THE KINDEST MAN IN THIS EARTH! He never said anything bad or negative about anyone, he loved everyone! If you knew Kim you knew this about him! HE WAS LOVED BY ALL!! AND WHOEVER HE CAME IN TOUCH WITH KIM TOUCHED THEM DEEPLY!

Kim loved to watch old movies and going to the movies, also loved playing cards and games. Kim loved his dog Georgie, and Georgie would actually smile big for Kim always. Kim also loved talking about family memories, family times. He recently asked to put together a family video of all our family memories – FOR YOU BABY BROTHER WE WILL!

Kim was/is a Believer and he is dancing, rejoicing in Heaven with our loving God our Father! May all of us in mourning for Kim, the most kindest, loving, smiles and giggles he always had in good times and is now with our Lord God!!

LOVED BY ALL WHO KNEW KIM!!

A memorial service will be held Monday, April 10, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 2506 W. Mead Ave., Yakima, 98902.
