Larry Edward Hastings

Larry married his school sweetheart Catherine “Cathie” Wheeler on November 19, 1955 in Wapato, WA. He worked as a mechanic at different places but worked his last 25 years for Yakima County and retired as a foreman in 1997. He moved to Goldendale a few years later to live close to his mother and brother. Larry spent his retirement years restoring several 1930’s Fords.

Larry is survived by his daughters Teresa (Paul) Selph of Pasco and Cheri (Chase) Walters of West Richland; son Mark (Judy) Hastings; grandchildren Chad, Kimberly, Trevor, Nycol, Tara, Tiffany, Kelcey, Kendra, Gabrielle, Liz and Jacob; great-grandchildren Brylee, Xander and Ronan. He was preceded in death by his wife Cathie; daughter Josephine Brower; brother Norman Hastings and parents Bud and Myrtle.

The family would like to thank his great friends Jim, Gary and Dave for everything and thank the staff at Hospice House in Kennewick for all their caring and support.

A visitation will be held from 4 pm to 8 pm, Thursday, October 13, 2016 at Keith & Keith Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am, Friday, October 14th at Rainier Memorial Center with concluding service and burial at Terrace Heights Memorial Park.
