

Mario Garcia was born January 8, 1969 in Sunnyside, WA to Eberardo and Victoria Lopez Garcia. Mario went to school in Sunnyside, WA, then in 1978 Mario moved to Yakima with his family to continue his education until graduation. Mario was blessed with many talents and jobs; he was a chef, a waiter, model, and hair stylist (he loved to do peoples hair); he also graduated from Sakie Beauty School. In 1989 Mario also had a once in a lifetime experience and got to go to the White House to have lunch with President Bush.
Mario was very giving, loving and compassionate. He had a big heart and he loved Jesus. He had accepted Jesus as his personal Savior. When he came to town he attended Open Bible Christian Center.
Mario is survived by his mother, Victoria Lopez Garcia of Yakima; brothers, Eddie Garcia of Yakima, Tony (Georgia) Garcia of Toppenish and Aaron Garcia of Yakima; sisters, Michelle (Reynaldo) Garza of Yakima, Stella (Gary) Garcia of Yakima; grandmother, Delfina Lopez of Salem, OR and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts and uncles.
He went to join his family in heaven, his father, Eberardo Garcia; grandparents, Antonio Guadalupe Garcia and Eduardo Lopez.
Special thank you to Uncle Henry and Aunt Silvia Alvarez and Aunt Dora Barreras for these wonderful visits. As well as Burien Nursing and Rehab Center staff in Burien, WA, and thank you very much to Chaplain Pat Passmore who spent a lot of time and love with Mario, and also thanks to Dr. James Buttitta.
