Dolores graduated from Yakima High School and enjoyed an eventful career as a travel agent in Seattle. She slept in a treehouse overlooking the African Savanna, walked the Great Wall of China, descended into the catacombs in Egypt, and much more. She retired and returned to Yakima to care for her ailing mother and handicapped brother. She gave all of herself caring for them, as well as her brothers and her aunt in their final years.
Generous of heart and spirit, Dolores earned her angel’s wings before she reached Heaven’s doors. She was preceded in death by her parents and her two brothers, Richard and Julius. Dolores is survived by her brother and sister in law, Frank and Margaret, uncle Emil Campo, aunt Bernita Campo, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Memorial Service will be held on October 26, 2015 at Calvary Cemetery at 1 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to: Cottage in the Meadow, 1208 S. 48th Ave., Yakima, WA 98902.
