Mr. Cook was born in Little Rock, Arkansas. He worked as a plumber in the Tacoma area for most of his life, before moving to the Yakima Valley 10 years ago.
Survivors include four siblings: James Cook of Yakima, patsy Campbell of Missouri, Jerry Mathews of Fallon, Nevada and Billy Massey of Ellensburg.
A memorial service will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11, 2011 at the Keith & Keith Ninth Avenue Chapel.
