

She moved with her family to Wapato and then to Yakima as a child. This is where she met Cruz Olivas and had ten children together.
Nora worked many years out in the fields, working in the hops, picking apples, pears and peaches. After injuring her foot she as no longer able to work. Nora then became a homemaker.
Nora enjoyed cooking for her family especially making homemade tortillas and tamales.
Whenever anyone came over she was quick to offer them something to eat.
She also loved playing bingo, she spent many nights at the Bingo hall.
Nora is survived by her nine children, a son, Frankie, and eight daughters, Mary, Nellie, Rosie, Christina, Melinda, Ramona, Irene and Yolanda: 45 grandchildren, and 50 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren and one great grandchild & one great great grandchild on the way.
She was preceded in death by her loving son Pelon, her mother Josefina, her father Guillermo, her brothers Charlie and Willie, her sisters Julia and Vicki and also her grandson Mikey.
The family would also like to thank the staff at Cottage in the Meadow for everything they did for Nora.
Visitation will be 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 8, 2015 with a Rosary Service starting at 6:00 p.m. at Keith & Keith Funeral Home.
A Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 9th at Keith & Keith Funeral Home with burial at Tahoma Cemetery.
