

Patricia Ann Harrell died on February 26, 2026 in Yakima, WA. at the age of 87. Patricia was born on October 25, 1938 in Nampa, Idaho to Otis Fesler and Bertha (Larrance) Fesler. She attended school in Nampa, graduating from Nampa High School, where she met Dale Harrell. They married on February 16, 1957. Dale was a butcher and a meat cutter, where Pat learned to wrap meat for him. They moved to Oregon in 1960 then to Selah in 1972, working for Mead’s Thriftway. She enjoyed working her own hours giving her time for her favorite hobbies, sewing, camping, ceramics and later on baking. Pat was an amazing seamstress, for family and friends, creating shirts, slacks and dresses. Her ceramics were cherished gifts to friends and family. She became known as the Cookie Lady, for her family, then expanding to grandchildren’s fundraisers, then just fundraisers in general. Baking multiple dozens of a variety of cookies to sell, often people pre ordered dozens. She will be remembered for never forgetting a special occasion; birthdays, holidays, anniversaries and just to say hello. Every stranger Pat met became a friend for life.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband Dale, and a brother Wayne Fesler. She is survived by her younger brother Don (Ruby) Fesler, her 3 children; Douglas Harrell of Yakima, Lynne (Jon) Heim of Elizabeth, CO. and Lori (Steve) Carlson of Yakima, eight grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
A time for a final visitation has been set aside at Keith and Keith Funeral Home at 902 W Yakima Ave. on Friday March 20 from 3:00 to 7:00. On Saturday March 21 at 12:00 a celebration of Pat’s life will be held at Keith and Keith Terrace Height Memorial Center 2807 Terrace Heights Dr. Services are under the direction of Keith and Keith Terrace Heights Memorial Center.
