Robert Franklin Lowe

Siblings include Audrey Monyaine Lowe Maier and David Thomas Lowe. Bob graduated from Yakima High School in 1949. He married Edna Marie Lemke August 16, 1952.

Before marriage Bob attended 3 years of Bible College, 2 of which were at Bob Jones University.

May of 1954 Bob entered the military. He served in the Army, Specialist 3rd class in Ethiopia, Africa. Bob was honorably released from active duty May of 1956.

Bob was quite the salesman all his life. As an adult he managed Gallenkamp shoe store for several years. He then owned his own business selling drapes and carpet.

In the late 60' and early 70's Bob and Edna pastored a church in Boise, Idaho.

Eventually Bob and Edna moved to Avondale, Arizona as Edna's parents had relocated there. They resided there until Edna's passing June 9, 2007.

About 4 years later Bob moved back to Yakima and resided here until his passing September 4, 2025.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents Frank and Amo Lowe, his brother, David Lowe and his wife, Edna Lowe, and many other loved ones.

Bob is survived by his sister, Audrey Maier and numerous other loved ones.

Robert's family would like to offer our Avamere family and Heartlinks Hospice a huge thank you for their care for Bob and their care and support for us during Bob's years at Avamere and especially his last months there.

A graveside interment service for Robert was held Thursday, October 2, 2025 at West Hills Memorial Park, 11800 Douglas Rd, Yakima, WA 98908.
