

Verna enjoyed attending Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Selah. She loved Dancing, Music, Entertaining, Camping, Vintiques Car Club and was a Member of the Eagles Auxiliary. She was a wonderful cook and caretaker for her late husband Dick Schiffner for many years, also volunteered at the Food Bank.
Survived by her 4 Children; Stephan Madsen, Tina Bond, Chana Madsen, Lisa McDaniels and Step Daughter Vickie Glover.
Verna was the oldest daughter of 11 children. Surviving siblings include: Robbie Pellegrini, Jeri Ealy, Barbara Porter, Carolyn Gage, Mike Lagervall, Dan Lagervall, Denise Longshore, Mari Mills and Steven Lagervall.
A Special Thank You-No amount of words or "Thank you's" can express our gratitude to Denise and Steve Longshore for loving and caring for our Mother/Sister at the end of her cancer battle.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 2, from 2p.m. to 6 p.m. and Friday, May 3, 2013 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Langevin-Mussetter Funeral Home, with a Rosary starting at 6:00 p.m. that evening. Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 4, 2013 at Langevin-Mussetter Funeral Home with interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
