April Anne Adams

Birth name Anne Thayer Dunton. April took her last breath from pneumonia the afternoon of February 27 2025 just weeks shy of turning 83 years of age at Coastal Manor nursing home in Yarmouth Maine.

Anne was born April 5 1942 in Bangor Maine. Her parents were Arthur and Margerie Dunton. Brother Richard and sister June. Anne was the oldest . Anne named her little sister June cause that was the month she was born. The family lived in Orland Maine by Toddy pond were they spent the Summers swimming and water skiing behind the boat her father skillfully built .In 1958 they moved to Cumberland Maine, where her father, that she would always call him Daddy was hired as an engineer for the Wyman power plant on Cousins Island. Anne played the piano and wrote music, and loved Elvis Presley. She cried when she had tickets to see him that night in Portland the day he died back in August 1977 . She also had a spiritual side to her. In her teens she discovered the teachings of Jehovah's witnesses, saying to her mother and siblings they have the truth and made a commitment to tell others the wonderful God she worships.

At the age of 19 she married Harold Allen ( Buddy ) At age 20 she gave birth to her only child Glen Allen aka (Gator) In 1968 Anne and Buddy divorced. Life doesn't always go as planned, but she renewed her faith less than a year before she left us knowing she'll be back someday. John 5: 28-29 Says

Do not be amazed at this for the hour is coming in which all those in memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out ,those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment

April Adams/ Anne is survived by her son Glen Allen aka Gator her daughter inlaw Susan Allen, granddaughter Crystal Starlight and sister June Dunton, who looks forward to seeing her again young , beautiful, happy and full of joy and love.
