Matthew Scott Tercsak

Matthew Tercsak, of Yarmouth Maine, passed away Saturday May 20, 2023. A Father, husband, son, brother, uncle, entrepreneur, author, and avid Steeler Fan. Matt was born September 25,1972, in Pittsburgh PA. He attended the University of Pittsburgh, where he studied creative writing. After college, Matthew connected with his entrepreneurial spirit, and began a successful business venture in Orlando, FL.

Orlando is where Matt met Renee, his wife of eighteen years. Matt and Renee went on to have two beautiful boys, Mason and Nolan. They became the center of his love and focus in life. He was a loving and attentive father.

Matthew's love for the outdoors brought the family to Maine where he enjoyed hiking, kayaking, and mountain biking. Matt loved making memories with his wife and children on their many travel adventures.

Matthew was predeceased by his father and mother Stephen and Monna (Wyckoff) Tercsak, his grandparents Steve and Mary (Karlovits) Tercsak, and grandparents Thomas and Georgia (Howard) Wyckoff.

Matthew is survived by his loving wife Renee Tercsak, his two sons Mason Augustus Tercsak and Nolan Gregory Tercsak, and his beloved canine companion Mabel Tercsak.

Matt was the youngest of five children. He was the beloved brother to Deborah Tercsak, Donna Katz, Mark Tercsak, and Deirdre Maietta. He was the much adored “Uncle Bean” to his nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life service on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at 4:30 PM at Lindquist Funeral Home, 1 Mayberry Lane, Yarmouth.
