Bing L. Tan

Bing L. Tan of Yonkers died on Monday, April 7, 2014 at age 95. Born on January 20, 1919 in Indonesia; came to the United States in 1961. He worked as an Internal Auditor for Citibank until his retirement in the early 1990’s . Mr. Tan is survived by his wife Margherita Colavito-Tan of Yonkers; his daughter Marji Tan-Mitchell, Son-in-Law Jeff Mitchell, granddaughter Alexandra Mitchell all of Southbury, Ct. He is also survived by a son, a daughter and grand-daughter of Utica, New York, also his brother and sisters in the Netherlands and several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be at the Whalen and Ball Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral service at Whalen and Ball Funeral Home on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery.
