Dan was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Daniel and Elizabeth Cunningham.
Dan was honorably discharged after serving his country from 1952-1956 in the U.S. Army. Following his service, he was employed by Commercial Union Insurance as a Property Specialist for 43 years
Dan was a simple man who loved to watch sports, especially the New York Giants. Win or lose they were still his favorite team and he proudly wore his Giants cap. He and his lifelong buddies braved the elements at Giant’s stadium with season’s tickets for over 30 years until they got priced out!
In retirement he drove miles everyday often having breakfast at the Jersey Shore or lunch in Connecticut, sometimes stopping off to say hello to family and then be on his way. He loved his driving adventures.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Church on Tuesday January 17th at 11am. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
