She was born on March 4, 1947 to Arthur B. and Dorothy Johnson Gill in Yonkers where she was raised and educated. Miss Gill was a salesperson at John Wanamaker’s Department Store in Yonkers for many years prior to her retirement. Miss Gill was a member of the Messiah Baptist Church and belonged to the Nepperhan Community Center in Yonkers. She is survived by a brother, Arthur B. Gill, Jr. of Poinciana, Florida and was predeceased by a brother, Frederick D. Gill. Funeral service and final disposition are private.
