

David William Brown was born in Yonkers NY on June 27th, 1957 to Grace (O’Neill) and Andrew F Brown. He attended Yonkers Public Schools and graduated from Saunders Trade and Technical School in 1975. He worked as a tool and die maker for many years before changing careers to be a watch engineer at St Johns Riverside Hospital and Elizabeth Seton Children’s Center until he retired in 2022.
He was an avid golfer (he loved golf),a trout fisherman, music lover, and everyone’s all around favorite handy man. Dave had a very good sense of humor and could make anyone laugh with his one liners.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Kathleen, his son David and his daughter Meaghan, as well as his loving family: Marilyn Sullivan-Brown (Charles), Janet Lemischak (Joseph), Mary Fitzgerald, Francis Brown (Lisa), William, as well as many many adoring nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and his brothers, Andrew and Edward. He leaves behind many friends who will miss him dearly.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Elizabeth Seton Children’s Center at 300 Corporate Blvd S, Yonkers NY 10701. Visiting hours will be at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Tuesday
4-8pm. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday January 3rd at 10am. Cremation will follow at Ferncliff Crematory.
