Donna Marie Rilley

Donna Marie Rilley (nee Jamin) of Yonkers died on Friday, June 25, 2010 at age 63. Born on January 9, 1947 to Arthur and Anna (Fesh) Jamin in Yonkers where she was raised and educated in Yonkers schools. Donna was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church and a full-time grammy. On December 18, 1963 she married Gary Rilley in St. Bartholomew’s Church. He survives living in Yonkers. Besides her husband, she is survived by her two children, Donna (Paul) Commentucci of New City, and Gary Anthony (Ellen O’Sullivan) Rilley of Orangeburg (retired Y.P.D.); four grandchildren Gary Paul, Anna Noel, Gary Arthur and Ashley Ann and her two sisters Ruth Sullivan and Gloria DiCicco. Donna’s biggest joy was her four grandchildren. She watched their football games in the snow, softball games in the sweltering heat, and never missed a basketball game. Our only saving grace is that she is with her mom and dad again.

Visiting hours will be at the Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Sunday, and Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. & 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be in Sacred Heart Church on Tuesday, June 29th at 9:30 a.m. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery.
