Dorothea C. Burns of Yonkers died on Monday, February 9, 2015 at age 56. Born on December 20, 1958 in New York City and attended local schools, and received her Masters from Lehman College. Ms. Burns worked as a Psychologist for the Department of Social Services in Yonkers for many years. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church. Dorothea is survived by her daughter Keri Ann McGuiness and Michael McGuiness (Father of Keri). Memorial Visitation will be at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Friday, February 20th from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be in Sacred Heart Church on Saturday, February 21st at 9:30 a.m.
