I was a roommate of Ellaxis on Riverside drive.  We attended church together where she wholeheartedly served in the children's ministry.  She was such a classy lady.  She was full of fun and enjoyed life.   We had many memorable moments as a household.   I will miss her.

So saddened by this loss. We met in church. She was always a positive voice and aid to me during that time. I will  always remember her “lady-like” ways, GORGEOUS hands/nails and of course spirit. Rest easy. 

I saw Ellaxis last year in a diner in Hackensack, NJ.  We greeted each other and had the most pleasant conversation.  We laughed and smiled.
She was always pleasant and uplifting and will be remembered for her kind and gentle spirit.

I work in Public Safety here at Bronx Community College and I am so saddened to here this news. We often shared stories since we are both from North Carolina and was able to chat about anything. My special message to her is, now don't go up there chatting up everybody, save some talk for me.  You will truly be missed by so many.  

A good heart has stopped beating, a good soul ascended to heaven.  Ellaxis may your soul rest in peace.

I was fortunate to work with Ellaxis for several years. What a joy she was to be with. My heartfelt condolences to her family and other loved ones. May Ellaxis’ memory always be a blessing, and may you find comfort in knowing how lovingly she will continue to be remembered by the countless people whose lives she so gracefully touched.

I worked with Ellaxis at the Dormitory Authority until I retired a few years ago.  My particular memories of Ellaxis was her smile, which was contagious and you couldn't help but smile with her.  She was a happy person and made your time with her a happy, positive experience.  She will be missed.

I sat next to Ellaxis at DASNY from when I started in 2014 to when she retired. She was always such a positive, upbeat person and was extremely kind. She could always tell if I wasn't feeling well or was in an off mood. We often chatted through the cubicle partition that divided us.  I will miss her.
