Frances "Gidget" Oths

Frances Gidget Oths, a cherished and devoted resident of Yonkers, New York, passed away on June 28, 2025, at the age of 82. Born on November 17, 1942, Frances was a faithful member of her community and a beloved presence in the lives of those who knew her.

Frances was married in 1972 to Paul A. Oths, Jr. at Christ the King Church in Yonkers where she remained a dedicated parishioner throughout her life. Together, they built a loving family, and she is survived by her husband, Paul, and their children: Wendy Vaccarielli, Samantha (Kurt) Rauber, and Anthony (Holly) Oths. Frances was also the proud grandmother of four grandchildren: Austin Rauber, Tristan Rauber, Riley Nyemchek-Soto, and Paul A. Oths IV, also survived by her sister Rose "Bea" Hinchcliffe. She was predeceased by her parents Frank and Katherine Pyrch Nyemchek and her brother, Michael Nyemchek.

In her personal life, Frances found joy in painting and cherished spending time with her family. Her legacy of love and devotion will be fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
