Frederick J. Schneider

Frederick John Schneider, 81, of New York, NY, passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2025. Freddy was a proud veteran who served during the Vietnam War, stationed in Germany. He worked at American Bakeries and the Hoenig Group. Freddy is predeceased by his parents, Albert and Elizabeth Schneider, his twin sisters, Eileen Duffy and Patricia Stroles, and his niece Debbie Paladino. He also joins his beloved dogs Sandy, Heidi, Kelly and Murphy. He is survived by his loving wife Marion and nieces and nephews Patricia Gorse, Elizabeth Regina, Theresa Mellia, Anthony Duffy, Brian Duffy, Joey Duffy and many great nieces and nephews. Fred loved to spend time with his great friends Jim White, Steven Semenza, Dante Paige, and Robert Moskowitz. He loved to have biscuits ready for Chewy and watch the Yankees and Giants. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Tunnels to Towers.org or Yonkers Animal Shelter.

Visiting hours will be held at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home, located at 168 Park Ave, Yonkers, NY 10703, on Friday September 12, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Christ the King Catholic Church, 740 N Broadway, Yonkers, NY 10701, on Saturday September 13, 2025, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
