James Schofield of Yonkers died on Tuesday February 18, 2014 at age 57. Born on May 23, 1956 to Harry and Felicia (Marconti) Schofield in Mt. Vernon; he graduated from Christopher Columbus H.S. in the Bronx. He worked as a mechanic for an auto body repair shop in the Bronx. On May 20, 2000 he married Melody Magner; she survives. Jim was an avid “Harley Biker” for over 20 years. Besides his wife Melody he is survived by his sister Carolyn Brady and his sister in law Ruth and his brother in law Charles Magner. He will be especially missed by his great nephew Charlie. Visitation will at the Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on both Thursday & Friday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be in Christ the King Church on Saturday February 22nd at 10am with interment to follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
