She was born in Bombay, India on August 25, 1956 to Thomas and Maggie Rodrigues. She was one of 9 children. Of her 8 siblings, she is survived by 4 sisters who live in India 8 nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her devoted husband, Richard Pereira, and Richard’s family. She married Richard Pereira over 20 years ago and had a strong and loving marriage.
She started work in this country as a nanny and most recently worked for MGM Empire Casino in the housekeeping department. Her dedication to her job was inspiring. She was so hardworking and respected by her peers.
Jessie was a kind, gentle and caring person. She will be missed and her memory will forever be cherished by those that knew her and loved her.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Anthony's Church, Yonkers on Saturday February 18th at 10:15am. Interment will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
