Jon Rickert of Yonkers died on Tuesday January 17, 2012 at age 74 from complications from bladder cancer. He was born on December 9, 1937 to Charles and Lavinia (Betty) Rickert (Frisbie) in New York City, N.Y. He worked as a Computer programmer for Gestetner Corp in Yonkers for many years. He is survived by his wife Dorothy (Lepiny) Rickert; his 3 children Patricia Jackson, Scott Rickert and Kelli Castro and 3 grandchildren, Timothy Jackson, Natalia Castro and Lilith Rickert Visiting hours will be in the Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Thursday January 19th from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Friday January 20th at 10am. Committal service Ferncliff Chapel. He will be buried at Oakland Cemetary in Yonkers with his mom.
