
Joseph P. Riccardi, a lifelong Yonkers resident, died on Thursday February 18, 2016 at his residence. He was 62 years old. He was born on July 1, 1953 to Joseph and Loretta Mazur Riccardi in Yonkers where he was raised and educated, graduating from Saunders Trade and Technical School. Mr. Riccardi worked at the American Specialty Company in Yonkers for over twenty five years prior to his death. He was a member of the Production and Service Employees Union Local #1143. Mr. Riccardi served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed collecting coins. He is survived by a brother, Christopher Riccardi of Yonkers and two sisters, Deborah Makar and her husband John of Yonkers and Regina Florich and her husband Larry of Yonkers. He is also survived by two nieces, Stephanie Bousche and her husband Louis and Danielle Florich and one nephew, Brandon Florich. Visiting hours will be at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Sunday 4-8pm. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Monday February 22nd at 10am. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
