Louise Holland

Louise F. Holland on May 26, 2012. Louise was born on April 17, 1926 to Daniel and Mary Ann Hurley. She attended St. Josephs Grammar School and graduated from Gorton H.S. Louise married Vincent Holland at St. Marys Church. Besides being a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother she was also a very active member of the community as a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, the Sacred Heart Mothers Guild and the District Poll. She also decorated the church for the holidays. Louise is survived by her husband Vincent of Yonkers, son Vincent of Wappinger Falls, daughters, Linda Klamka (Stanley) of Yonkers, Dorothy Suchy of Yonkers, Virginia Brotko (Mark) of Yonkers, Margaret Kivel of Carmel, NY, Kelly Lau (Ming) of Yonkers, sisters Dorothy Fitzgerald, Helen Burke, Madeline Langan, grandchildren Tara, Stanley, Lisa, William, Jennifer, Christopher, Craig, Timothy, Raymond, Lauren, Matthew & Kristen and her 8 great grand children and nieces and nephews. Louise was predeceased by her parents , her sister Mary Van Scoy and son in law Eugene Suchy. Louise will be sorely missed by all. Visitation will be at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home Tuesday May 29th. From 4pm to 9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday May 30th. At Sacred Heart Church at 11am with Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
