

She was born on February 5, 1947, in Petit Valley, Trinidad and Tobago, to the late Felicine and Oscar Best. Pamela was a beloved sister to Petronella Greene and Christopher Best.
Pamela led a fulfilling life, dedicating herself to her family and community. She was a dedicated mother to her daughter, Anais Hairston, and a loving grandmother to her grandchildren, Mikaela, Caleb, and Elijah Pearson. Pamela's stepdaughter, Roni Sanchez, also held a special place in her heart.
In her professional life, Pamela had a successful career at Castle Oil Co, where she made a lasting impact. Her dedication and hard work were admired by colleagues and friends alike.
Pamela was an active member of Kingdom Touch Ministries, where she found solace and strength. Her faith was an important aspect of her life, and she found comfort in worshiping with her community.
Outside of her professional and religious commitments, Pamela had a passion for being a dedicated mother and grandmother. She cherished spending time with her family and embraced her role as a matriarch. Pamela also found joy in serving her church and community, always lending a helping hand to those in need.
Pamela Hairston will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. Her legacy of love, dedication, and service will live on in the hearts of those she touched. May she rest in peace.
A graveside service will be held at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Hastings on Hudson, N.Y. on Friday September 8th at 11am with interment to follow.
