Ralph Francis Nappi of Yonkers died on Saturday March 15, 2014 at age 66. He was born to Ralph and Mary (Monahan) Nappi on June 13, 1947 in Yonkers where he was raised and graduated from Gorton HS. Ralph was a US Army Veteran and retired as a Supervisor for the Yonkers D.P.W. (Local 456). He married Maureen Roche on March 6, 1990 in Yonkers, she survives. He enjoyed playing softball with the DPW. Besides his wife he is survived by his children Michael Nappi, Ralph, Elaine, Richard, Anthony and Jeffery as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, also his great granddaughter. Visiting hours will be in the Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Wednesday from 1pm – 3pm and 6pm – 8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be in Sacred Heart Church on Thursday at 9:30am. Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
