

William C. Muller Sr. of Yonkers died on Tuesday June 5, 2012 at age 82. He was born on December 18, 1929 to John and Henrietta Muller in Hollis Queens, NY where he was raised and graduated from Sewanaka HS in Long Island. He was a founder or co-founder of a number of businesses from sewing machines to fried chicken. He owned and operated U Vend Inc. a vending machine company. He was a partner in Muller Toyota and Muller Chevrolet until his retirement and served as a consultant for the last 6 years. On June 3, 1972 he married Rose Rocha in Yonkers; she survives; they just celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary. Mr. Muller is survived by his wife Rose; his 6 children William (Ana) Muller, Ronald (Carolyn) Muller, Douglas (Angela) Muller, Patrice (James) Gayler, Deborah (Thomas) Kusma, Janice (Scott) Doyle and 2 stepdaughters Linda (Robert Porcello) DeAlbuquerque and Diane (John) Capurso. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 1 great grandson, and 2 brothers, Donald and Warren Muller. He was predeceased by his brother John Muller and his sister Arlene Russell. William was a devoted member of Christ the King Church. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends who loved his generous heart and sharp wit. His compassion and concern for his family was unwavering. Visiting hours will be in the Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be in Christ the King Church on Saturday June 9th at 10am. Committal services at Ferncliff Chapel.
