To Billy's family: I was deeply saddened to hear about Bill's passing. I attended St. Joseph's Grammar School and SHHS with him and played basketball together. He was a great guy and although I have not been  in touch with Bill for many years, I know that he touched many hearts and lives. I just learned of Billy's passing a few hours ago and my heart goes out to the O'Brien family at this difficult time.  I was lucky enough to know Billy while attending Sacred Heart together and my Dad was also a member of the Yonkers Police Department.  God Bless Billy and the OBrien Family.

Bill will be missed by all of his old friends from Sacred Heart High School, Class of 1966, as well as all of his old friends from St Joseph's Avenue. Prayers go out for him and his family.
