To Don’s children, Trisha, and Linda,

I wanted you to know how deeply sorry I am for your loss. Don and I communicated a couple of times in the last 10 years, and one thing that was clear was how much he loved each of you, and how proud he was of his boys. I can picture his welcome to open arms by Don Sr, Gwen, and Meemaw, and yet still much too young for this to happen. God Speed and Rest in Peace Don.

My name is Cortney Wonder, Don was my first Field Training Officer when I joined the Eloy Police Dept. in 2000.  I have carried and implemented the training and wisdom he imparted on me my whole successful law enforcement career.  Don has given similar training to dozens of officers over the years.  Don is directly responsible for training numerous officers whom have become Commanders, Sergeants, and Detectives.   His positive impact on the City of Eloy still resonates today.  I consider myself luckily to have known and been trained by him.  He will be greatly missed.
