

Emerson Schilcher, age 89, a long-time resident of the Caddy Vista, WI
and most recently Surprise, AZ passed away peacefully Monday the 6th of March 2017 at
his home in Surprise, AZ surrounded by his family.
Emerson is survived by his brother Melvin Schilcher (Marlyn), sister Merle Lorrign (Raymond). His children Stanley Schilcher,
Steven Schilcher (Hye-Suk), Stuart Schilcher (Rose); his grandchildren Tracy Simental, Kari Hoyle (John),
Jeremy Schilcher (Melissa), Jody Oestereich (Chad), Dawn Shaw (Dalbert), Michele Enk (Bruce), John Herrera (Nicole),
Jackie Lasko (Rich), Shannon Guerrero (Michael); also 28 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents Edward and Emma Cora Schilcher, wife of 68 years Phyllis Schilcher, there daugher Susan Kay Schilcher
(brothers)Lyle Schilcher, Marlin Schilcher and (sister) Lavern Rygiewicz, and Christine Schilcher (daughter-in-law).
Emerson was born on March 12, 1927 in Belle Plaine, WI to Edward & Cora Schilcher. Emerson married Phyllis Schilcher on Nov 15, 1947.
Emerson attended Antigo High School until he servied in World War II for 3 years. He retired from Kroger & Milwaukee Cylinder in Wisconsin.
He then moved to Phoenix, Az & helped his wife with caregiving. Emerson was a loving husband, father, grandfather and greate grandfather.
