

Kendra earned her Master’s degree from Michigan State University and was a proud member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She valued history, learning, and the quiet strength of tradition.
She is survived by her devoted husband, David; her daughters, Amy Elizabeth and Miranda Brooke; her grandchildren, Jeffrey, Shane, and Kendra; and her great-grandchildren, Noah, Daijon and Elijah. & Elijah. Brother Don and Sister Mary. Nieces April, Raven and Deserai. Nephew Joel and son in law, Zack. She also leaves behind a special handful of lifelong friends, Barry, Linda, Kim & Jackie…bonds that stood the test of time.
Kendra was an avid reader and known for her quick wit and sharp mind leaving a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.
She found meaning in the words of Edna St. Vincent Millay, especially the lines:
“My candle burns at both ends;
It will not last the night;
But ah, my foes, and oh, my friends…
It gives a lovely light!”
Kendra lived with that same spirit ~ brightly, fully, and with a warmth that will not be forgotten.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
