Larry is survived by his wife, Arlene (née Helms); children, Nancy (John Rinn), Susan (Bruce Kottom), Patricia and Joseph (Jackie Range), 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He is predeceased by his son, Timothy, his parents, brothers (Jack, Jerry, Francis) and sister (Mary).
Larry was born in Fargo, ND on January 8,1933 to Francis and Mary (Doherty) Kelly. He served 4 years in the USAF, graduated from the NDSU in 1960 with a Mechanical Engineering degree and worked for Hercules Powder in Maryland and Utah and then Honeywell and Alliant Tech in Minneapolis.
Larry was a much loved husband and father. He was an ardent DIYer and passionate volunteer. He is deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him.
A private service will be held at a later date.
