

Orlin Eldon Johnson was born April23, 1935, in Culbertson, Montana, to Theodore O. Johnson and Florence L. Johnson (nee Thomas). He grew up in various areas of Montana and North Dakota. After graduating from high school, Orlin enlised in the Navy, on August 11, 1954. He completed his basic training at the US Naval training center in San Diego, California. He served aboard the USS Los Angeles, which cruised to various destinations in the far east. Orlin received an honorable discharge on August 10, 1962.For many years Orlin attended reunions with his Navy friends to reconnect and reminisce about days gone by.
After many years living in Washington state Orlin and his wife Patricia (Pat) decided to move to Sun City, Az, and never looked back. They together, joined and enjoyed the many craft clubs, including Silverstone, glass fusion, stained glass, RV club trips, ceramics and porcelain. Orlin was elected president of the Pima Condo Association, and served 11 years.
Orlin is survived by his wife, of 41 years, Patricia, son Eldon Johnson, daughters Ellen Johnson and Jeannie Perez ( George), several grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Orlin was greatly loved, and will be deeply missed by his entire family. He was, and always will be , his wife Pat’s best friend and soul mate.
