Mr livingston was one of my friends and the absolute best teacher i had ever had me and him were close and would talk about his past experiences and memories hobbies and much more, i first got to know him when i was a student in his class at hillcrest i would ask him for help and he would just do the whole thing for me lol after that we hit it off and started to talk and hangout. I remember the next yesr i asked him to be his ta and he said “Of course BUD!”  I eventually started to stay in his classroom at lunch before he started letting everybody that had no place to go during lunch in, it was such a great experience to get to know such a cool loving guy! I ended up getting his number and we would reach out after hs i had him meet my wife when she was pregnant. Last time i heard from him we were supposed to get lunch together and never heard from him again . I just recently received the news and felt like i lost a parent thats how much i had love for mr livingston. He really loved his wife and family. Rest in peace to the most beautiful soul of a person id ever got the privilege of meeting.

I am in such shock as I write this. My fiancé and I had his class together and he always told us “invite me to your guy’s wedding… I’m serious!” He always was positive of our relationship even though we were still young. It has been about 4 years and we are still together with a baby that I was hoping he would meet one day. He had such a positive impact on our lives, we thought of him like family. I will never forget him or his class. He was such a good person all the way around. He told us before he retired, “when I retire I’m going to be fishing all the time somewhere on a boat.”He always talked so highly of his wife and how much he loves her! Well Mr. Livingston, my heart is heavy. Rest peacefully.

He was one the best Digital Imaging teachers. I am very saddened that I recently found out he passed away. He was one of the brightest, kindest teacher I have  in high school. May you rest in peace, Mr. Livingston.

Although he passed a little more than a year ago than I write this, it still hits hard. Mr. Livingston was one of the best teachers I have ever experienced. It has been around 4-5 years, and I still remember being in his classroom. Some of the best memories were made in that very classroom of his. Being in that classroom made me feel safe and comfortable. He cared for his students, not a single kid was left behind. No matter what you needed, he would help you. Livingston, rest in peace and enjoy your eternal peace.  - Fellow student 

It’s sad to see that I had just now found out about this. I’m sorry for you loss. I was one of his students and he was a great man, was always there to help and talk to. He would always say good morning to me and ask how my day is going, he’s made such an impact on every one of his students. He will truly be missed 

As a kid, I hated every teacher I ever had up until I walked into the classroom of Michael Livingston. Mr. Livingston was my computer graphics teacher during my freshman year of high school, he was always extremely kind and pushed me to do my best. He was very understanding and taught me and several other students many life lessons. My following year, I asked him if he could be the advisor for my club and even if he sounded jokingly annoyed by the idea, he agreed funnily enough. I spent so much time with him and every moment was appreciated. Throughout that time, he eventually became more than just a teacher to me, he had become one of my best friends. I wanted to give him an update on my life but I just found out he passed away. I wish I could’ve spoken to him one more time, he was truly a champion and a mentor at the same time. I love you Mr. Livingston and I’ll never forget you.

Hello Livingston Family; my heart goes out to all of you at the loss your husband, father, and grandgather; he was a truly incredible human being. I taught with Mike at Patriot High School until he retired a few years ago; he was among the kindest, warmest, humble, and encouraging colleagues I have known in my 32 years of teaching. I watched the memorial video, and couldn' t believe that ALL of his photos as an adult reflected that genuine, expansive smile he wore at school- he was truly a Great Soul. He influenced many with his goodness, interest in others, and his affable and generous spirit. I am shocked at his passing, but feel privileged to have known him. You will all be in my prayers as you grieve and heal. Sending gratitude for his life, and peace to all of you.
