Ricky was right!! As much as I hate to admit itWhenever you are in my thought or on my mind I can smile now, there are still tears and sadness (a lot) but I can remember and smile about some things. I miss you everyday and still wish with all my heart that you were here. If it is at all possible,maybe you can comfort Debbie in someway, she is so incredibly upset and sad,she had to put her dolly to sleep, I wish I knew how to help her through this, I love you and miss you! I think about you everyday.....Everything is so different for me now. You may be gone, but you will always and forever be in my heart. Although I can't see you I can feel you around me sometimes, it's hard to explain it to where it makes any sense but when I'm having a "bad" day, I can set in one of the  El Camino's and find some comfort in knowing how much your trucks meant to you. Hey pops, it's already been almost a year and I miss ya more than ever. Every time my grandma and I drive by your house I get old memories about being in the garage with you and mike. Those were good times and I was to young to even appreciate those presous moments with you. Little did I know I would only have 11 short years to spend with you. I wish I could have gotten to know you even better than I did. When news broke about your illness I figured everything would be okay, I always had that hope in my heart that over ruled any other one of my emotions..but unfortunantly the odds were against us. What makes me happy is knowing that you had a good long life and I'm glad that you don't have to feel the pain of being sick any longer. I hope you know that you are missed so much, more than you could ever know. Losing you broke my heart and I know for a fact it broke everyone else's as well. We will grow older and time will pass, we will even begin to become more custom with You passing...but I PROMISE you that you will never be forgotten and you will always leave an incredibly special place in my heart. Writing to you now is a nice feeling because it makes me feel like you are actually there. Once again, we miss you lots!! Love ya pop

I know that this is not what you wanted for me (the way I haven't been handling things well, or being able to accept you being gone) it's been a real struggle so I finally went to my Dr..and for the next 4to6 months she has me on an antidepressant. At this point im up for trying anything if it will make me feel half way normal againI've had a MAJOR loss in my life and I'm having a really hard time trying to come to terms with losing you. Hi Pop! I love you and think about you everyday..its still really hard without you here, I had to go to the Dr. Yesterday, I have a few concerns that I needed to ask Bailey about, hopefully my tests come out ok, when I got in the ElCamino to start it I could smell you so I'm taking it as a sign that you want me to know your ok and that your watching over me and that I'm going to be ok as well. I just wanted to tell you I LOVE YOU and MISS YOU EVERYDAY. I think I've gotten used to a piece of my heart being with you but I still can't get used to the fact that your gone.,I miss you so much! Hi pop!! I went to visit with you on your  Birthday, it's still doesn't seem real. I'm still not handling any of this very well. I just miss you so much. I still cry ALOT,  I usually go off somewhere so no one will see me, I don't want anyone's pity because I can't get my emotions under control yet, hahaha. Sometimes the pain is so intense that it's hard to breathe and I would almost swear that my heart hurts. i went to visit you the other day,Connie was with me. I just needed to feel close to you because I miss you so much. Your stone plaque is so beautiful and I felt at peace for a little while. I know that your in a better place and free of pain, but I just wish you could be well and with me again.  You took a part of my heart with you when you left on Nov.23,.... You will always be the most important person I ever met. You know you were the best looking man in the world to me (we always agreed on this). Over the years, we've shared the same emotions for the most wonderful family in the world. I will miss looking at you smiling at the new little members of our family. Yes, eighty-four is a long time, but there is so much we had planned to do. Sometimes I will still say to you the same thing I said with every new amazing accomplishment we discovered, " WE did good babe"!!!! Thank you for everything. Forever in my heart.
