El Gorras was born in El Camiche Michoacán. He has several sisters and one brother. He married Juventina at 17. They lived in California and would migrate to Arizona for the seasonal field work. They had 6 children together. Starting with Vicente, Alejandro, Alberto jr, Vianey, Gilbert and Ruby. 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. El gorras had a stroke in 1997, but with Gods help and Juventinas help, he was able to live 25 years. What kept him going was all the love from all his family. He would always say he was Al 100! And he felt like a “Mango”. Lastly he started saying he also felt like a champ. He was truly the families joy. Gorras left us on his 71st birthday. Many say he lived far more than expected. We give God the Glory for those wonderful years by Gorras side.
