Andres Gaspar Gomez of Chula Vista, California passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2011 in Dateland, Arizona. Born in Izamal, Yucatan, Mexico to Jose and Manuela Gomez on October 20, 1945. Mr. Gomez was a self employed truck driver for 20 years, before retiring.
Surviving family members included, his loving wife, Ruth C. Gomez of the home; daughter Vanessa Ortiz of San Diego, CA; son, Julio Gomez of San Diego, daughter, Maribel Gomez of Arizona; son Oscar A. Gomez and beloved grandson, Josua.
Visitation will be held at Glen Abbey Memorial Chapel on Friday, July 15, 2011 from 5 - 9 pm. A private cremation will be provided by Glen Abbey
Local arrangements under the direction of Johnson Mortuary & Desert Lawn Memorial Park, Yuma, AZ.
