He was born October 12, 1929 to Grover and Mabel Peasley Folks in Heyworth, Illinois. Charles served in the U.S. Air Force for 22 ½ years and worked as an electrician for Eureka Williams in Bloomington, Illinois for 20 years. He Married Mary Ann Mulvaney on June 2, 1963 in Downs, Illinois.
Charles is survived by his wife, Mary Folks of Yuma, Az; Daughters: Norma (Doug) King of Sands Lake, Michigan; Sandra Evans of Bloomington, Illinois; Rose Folks of Yuma, Az; Karen (Brad) Roberts of Gridley, Illinois; Leta (Michael) Ferrell of Yuma, Az; Brother Thomas "Happ" (Amanda) Folks and Sister Betty June (Don) Thompson; 12 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one Grandson; Chance King; seven brothers and sisters; Cecil Folks, Robert Folks, Junior Folks, Earl Folks, Gladys Zimmerman, Francis Hefner, and Christine Doss.
Chuck loved fixing things for his friends and children. He enjoyed spending time with his wife watching NASCAR and playing with their dog Toby
