Crespin O. Muñoz Jr.

Our beloved father Crespin Ornelas Muñoz Jr. passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 10th, 2024 at the age of 79. He is survived by children Crespin Jay Muñoz (Olga), Leticia Muñoz (Carlos), Armando Muñoz (Lupe) and Mia Muñoz-Funderburk (Jon) and their mother Elizabeth Muñoz, brothers Manuel & Robert "Bobby" Muñoz, William "Billy" Olivas, Ysidro Olivas, sisters Melinda Olivas & Dolores Olivas and Annette Lucatero.

He passed away peacefully surrounded by his children, grandchildren, cousins and Tia Sarah. He leaves behind 17 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son Gabriel Muñoz, father Crespin Muñoz Sr., mother Savina Ornelas, sister Sally Muñoz, Bertha Olivia, brothers Mike Muñoz, Jackie Muñoz and Johnny Olivas.

Our Dad was born on April 3rd, 1944 in Yuma, AZ and grew up in Somerton, AZ. He attended OL Carlisle School. Dad enjoyed listening to music, watching tv, spending time with his children, grandkids and great-grandkids. He was a devoted Pittsburgh Steelers fan and enjoyed watching games with his family and drinking beer.

Pallbearers: Gabriel Muñoz Jr., Armando Muñoz Jr., Joel Mancinas, Emilio Figueroa, Freddie Gabriel Muñoz, and Patrick Garcia.

Honorary Pallbearers: Crespin Jay Muñoz, Armando Muñoz, Michael Muñoz Jr., Carlos Mercado, and Jon Funderburk.

Services will be held at Johnson Mortuary, on March 18th, from 9am-1pm. All friends and family are welcome.
