Dale Emerson Heaverly passed away on June 30, 2023, at his home in Yuma, Arizona. He was born on December 4, 1948, in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, and grew up in Anchorage, Alaska. He moved to Washington at 18 where he eventually met and married Cheryl Dizard in 1974. They moved to Clearview, Washington where they built their lives around their 2 girls. Dale was a union electrician for over 30 years, a career that he excelled at and enjoyed. Following his electrical career, Dale and Cheryl retired and moved to Yuma, Arizona in 2003 where they enjoyed the warm weather, the desert landscape and beautiful sunsets.
Dale was a compassionate man with a big heart, especially for animals. He genuinely cared about people, enjoyed spending time with family, and of course his animals.
Two things that mattered most to Dale were his family and his love for God. His faith in God remained strong until the end of his life, as did his love for his family. It is of great comfort to his family that Dale is spending eternity in Heaven, with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and that they will someday be reunited with him forever.
Dale was proceeded in death by his wife Cheryl Heaverly and his father George Heaverly.
Dale is survived by his daughter, Shannon Ferkingstad, and grandchildren, Colton, Braedon, his wife Hannah, Haely and great-grandson Saxon, of Lynnwood, Washington; his daughter, Celestial Fisher, her husband, Craig, and granddaughters, Peyton and Morgan, of Monroe, Washington; Dale is also survived by his mother Lois Heaverly of Soldotna and his brother, Gerry Heaverly, niece Georgeanna and nephew Benjamin, also of Soldotna.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared for the Heaverly family.
