Survived by Irma J. Hooks, wife of 52 years, and children Daniel W. Hooks Jr., Dwayne R. Hooks, Dean J. Hooks and Melissa M. Hooks- Mimlitsch.

A "True Grit" father raising his kids turned kind and gentle in his later years was loved by everyone he met. True to his wife and family till his last breathe. Go with God Dad.
