Dorothy Alice Molphy, age 102, was born on a hot summer’s day on August 30, 1922, in her parent’s house in Richmond Hill, Queens, New York. She passed away and met her family in heaven on December 2, 2024.
Dorothy was the first child of Harry Bahrenburg and Florence Lillian (White) Bahrenburg and was preceded in death by her brothers Harry (Marion); Richard and Walter (Peggy). She is survived by her son, Raymond Molphy (Judy), and daughters Danelle Jones (Steve) and Cynthia Marshall. Dorothy is also survived by three grandchildren, Bradley Jones (Mitzi); Rebecca Kujawa (John), Austin Marshall and six great-grandchildren, Ledger, Slade, and Kohler Jones; Cabo, Kenna, and Zeta Kujawa.
The family wants to thank Virginia Newton (Frank) and Edda Marshall for their never-ending care of our mother for which we and Dorothy are forever thankful for.
Dorothy was a resident of Seaford, NY until she moved to Yuma, AZ in 2000 when she passed away. There are not enough words to express how much we loved and will miss her.
Thanks, mom, for your love and care and we will all be forever “careful” as you wanted us to be.
